Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Physician - Hand Surgery
Join a premier healthcare facility located in the beautiful Colorado Springs CO known for its commitment to patient care and innovation. The facility is seeking a skilled Hand Surgeon to provide locum coverage offering a unique opportunity to thrive in a Level I Trauma Center that employs EPIC EMR.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide expert surgical care for hand-related injuries and conditions.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in weekday coverage providing 24-hour on-call support.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and patient records utilizing EPIC EMR.
- Engage in consultations and pre-operative assessments.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hand Surgery (required).
- Completed a fellowship in Hand Surgery (required).
- Experience in a Level I Trauma setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff.
- Availability during the last two weeks of July and most of August (required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Colorado Medical License or Active IMLC LOQ (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Self-Query NPDB Report pulled within 30 days at the time of presentation (required).
