About the Role
Reporting to the Vice President Content & Curriculum as a French Language Content Producer you will work closely with all members of the Content & Curriculum team to develop responsive and forward-looking content learning experiences in language socials science and math to support French Immersion & Core French students in K12. Projects are often high-intensity and high-profile requiring a broad skillset and a willingness to work flexibly and hands-on to deliver quality solutions to customers within target timelines.

Key Accountabilities
Rapid Responsive French Content Development and Translation: 65%
- Translate write research edit storyboard and create student- and teacher-facing material in Edwin to support market needs and boost engagement and retention.
- As required communicate requirements delegate tasks and review the work of Nelson staff and freelancers to ensure competing deadlines and priorities are met.
- Use an agile workflow and development process to develop app-ready Edwin content.
- Respond promptly to internal and external content requirements including new development licensing or repackaging of content.
Content Experience Design & Conceptualization:20%
- Work in consultation with internal and external stakeholders(includingC&C LeadsContent ExperienceCSTsStrategyauthors/creatorsandeducators)toconceptualize and create enticingcontent learningexperiencesthat drivesusageretentionand userdelight.
- Contribute to overallcontentstrategy and drive to continuously improvequality and breadth ofEdwin content coverage and learning experiences.
- Propose and conceptualize newexperiencesfor Edwinwhile being data informed including writing requirements and/or creating mock-ups or prototypesfor interactive html video or audio approaches.
- Constantly consider the voice of the customerwhen authoring and developing new material understandingteachingand learning challenges approaches curriculumpedagogyand initiativesthat driveclassroom needsengagementand retention.
- Develop content outlinesandplans and release schedules forassignedEdwin LOsprojectscollections and modules;authoring or overseeing the authorship of these through to publication/live inapp.
Editorial Leadership:15%
- Use customer feedback and usage data tocollaborativelyprioritize and plancontentforrevisions and/oradditions to the Edwin librarywithC&C Leads & Specialists.
- Populate an editorial calendar for featured Edwin contentin collaboration with C&C Leads and Commercial teamtofeature contentin a timely manner.
- In collaboration withContent & Curriculum Content Services and Designteam manageproject specificauthoring templates guidelines and best practices for developing consistent bias-free inclusive and engaging Edwin content experiences.

Requirements- Bachelors degree in Education French Linguistics Translation or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience in K12 settings
- Exceptional understanding of K12 pedagogy curriculumand instructional design withdemonstratedexperience supportingFrench Immersionand Core Frenchprograms
- Proven experience developing adapting and reviewingFrench Immersion learning resourcesaligned with curriculum outcomesin Canada
