Job Responsibilities
As a CSS Tech Team Intern your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Assisting with the design development testing and deployment of software applications and tools related to Customer Sales and Support
* Collaborating with senior data engineers and data scientists to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
* Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of software quality and best practices.
* Documenting technical processes system configurations and project progress.
* Supporting data analysis and reporting to identify areas for technological improvement and operational optimization.
* Engaging in team meetings brainstorming sessions and cross-functional collaborations to understand business requirements and technical challenges.
* Performing other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the CSS Tech Team leadership.

Job Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related technical field.
* Expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027.
* Demonstrated understanding of fundamental programming concepts and at least one programming language (e.g. Java Python C# JavaScript).
* Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
* Prior experience with database technologies (e.g. SQL) or cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

This is determined by several factors including performance experience and skills equity regular job market evaluations and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKessons pay philosophy and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
