This co-op will be able to work directly with the Industrial Engineers and Facilities Engineers and teams to help develop and sustain ongoing projects related to tracking open/closed maintenance orders CCS and Facility work orders through a front-end systems that connects with SAP and OPRA system.
The co-op could be working on facilities projects such as procurement installation and start-up of coolant systems paint lines and relocation of milling/turning machines for proper cell and value stream layout.
The candidate could work with 2-3 different engineering mentors at a time depending on the project scopes.
The rotation would be summer spring fall in that sequence to continue ongoing projects from previous rotation or start new projects altogether.
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge in:
- Solid Works Design or AutoCad
- PowerBI
- Visual Basic
- Python or C programming is a plus
- Minimum GPA 2.5
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and industrial engineering principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new concepts in a professional setting
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
