About The Role:


The Customer Integrity Specialist (AML) is accountable for operationalising Sportsbets AML/CTF Program to support the organisations materially larger customer base and future growth ambitions.


As a key member of a high performing function the Customer Integrity Specialist (AML)will execute the processes to manage the ML/TF risk in the organisation to ensure we understand and respond to customer and third-party activity that may be suspicious and/or fraudulent.


Furthermore theCustomer Integrity Specialist (AML) will collect prepare and present on a range of intelligence data sources and metrics relating to customer activity and behaviour for operational and strategic decision making.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Obtain and review documentation and reference data to verify customers KYC information
  • Perform KYC and ongoing customer due diligence investigations including ECDD -
  • Liaise with customers to seek additional information and keep them updated on progress of verification
  • Complete screening for sanctions politically exposed persons adverse media and restricted territories
  • Manage and respond to alerts generated by AML transaction monitoring systems
  • Identify investigate and escalate suspicious activity
  • Submit relevant SMRs in a timely manner
  • Driving continuous awareness and education of the importance of strong and defendable AML/CTF practices across Sportsbet
