Role Impact:
Cadillac Fairviews Early Talent Rotational Program provides participants with coaching accelerated learning and exciting work experience as they launch their commercial real estate career in Retail Leasing.. Participants will gain hands-on experience in Retail Leasing while developing exceptional leadership capabilities business acumen and industry knowledge.
About the Program:
- Participants will be placed in two 12-month customized roles to accelerate development experience and skills in retail & speciality leasing.
- Participants are paired with a senior coach to support them with accelerated leadership skill development throughout the program.
- Participants will be encouraged to build their brand through involvement with real estate industry associations and networking events.
- Exposure to Retail Leasing senior leadership team in social and work settings.
- Associates will start the program in June of 2026
What you will deliver:
In the Retail Leasing rotations you will:
- The rotations focus on Specialty Leasing Temporary Leasing & Leasing Analyst tasks
- Support leasing retail spaces in one of Canadas premier shopping centres (e.g. CF Toronto Eaton Centre).
- Develop an understanding of the marketplace and begin to formulate recommendations to the Leasing Team on which retail trends could be a fit for each property.
- Provide financial analysis and prepare business cases in order to prepare deals that require senior management review and approval.
- Conduct research to identify new clients and support the leasing team in securing new clients or satisfying expansion/renewal requirements for existing clients.
- Participate in the end-to-end process for temporary leasing space and lead lease negotiations.
We are looking for people who:
- Have a post-secondary education in business or a related discipline
- Are passionate about real estate and our client needs
- Are results oriented and have demonstrated initiative and leadership skills
- Are able & eager to collaborate consult and build strong relationships with others
Where you will go from here:
Upon completion of the 2-year program participants will move into a key Retail Leasing role (Retail Leasing or Specialty Leasing) reflecting the accelerated skills and experiences gained in the program. Some potential graduating roles include but are not limited to Specialty Leasing Coordinator Retail Leasing Representative etc.
