Product Owner BESS

Roles & Responsibilities :

-            Product Owner for grid-scale energy storage systems

-            work cross-functionally with hardware and software engineering and product management  teams to understand and execute the customer OS and grid application development plan.

-            demonstrate a continued understanding of energy storage systems commissioning and services and grid code requirements to provide differentiated  offerings in the market

-            translate the product requirements into actionable epics and  user stories for the software development agile team(s)

-            plan and manage the software development tasks from start to finish

-            ensure that the product meets the customers needs and delivers value

-            support the agile team manage the backlog and optimize the value of the product

Qualifications :

Educational qualification:

-            Engineering degree in Electrical or Power Systems computer science or proven

experience in software product ownership

Experience :

-            Minimum of 1012 years of professional work experience 

Mandatory/requires Skills :
2 year of product owner experience in Agile process

Strong system view of integrated system and process

Good knowledge of grid followng and grid forming applications or a proven record

of learning and grasping new domains quickly

Knowledge of grid interconnections agreements is a plus

Ability to solve complex technical problems and communicate results

Ability to review contracts and technical requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detailed tasks:

Work closely with the agile team to ensure the team is building the right product in

the most efficient way possible.

Work collaboratively with the product management team to meet applicable

standards including the associated cost and cycle time.

Analyze internal and external customer requirements on project opportunities and

the product roadmap.

Create epics and user stories out of requirements. Manage and prioritize Agile

teams backlog. Accept or reject the work for release.

Lead the creation and maintenance of the technical commercial documentation

related to the product in coordination with the different stakeholders.

Support the product management and sales team in delivering technical

presentations and demos to customers.

Lead the execution of multi-generation product plans by summarizing and

prioritizing emerging customer / market requirements and gathering competitive

intelligence.
