Job Summary
A Quality Assurance Intern helps test software to find bugs verify features and ensure products meet quality standards before release.
Role overview
Assist in testing software applications to identify defects and verify that functionality matches requirements.
Work closely with QA engineers and developers as part of an agile team to support the full testing lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Execute manual test cases report bugs and track them until resolution.
Help create and update test cases test plans and basic test documentation.
Support basic test automation by running existing scripts and reporting failures.
Desired skills
Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the software development lifecycle.
Attention to detail problemsolving mindset and clear written and verbal communication.
Familiarity with testing or scripting tools (e.g. basic automation SQL or version control) is a plus not a requirement.
Qualifications :
Typical qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Comfortable working with computers and learning new QA tools and processes during the internship
