Position Overview
A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Supply Manager to oversee day-to-day inventory control material flow and ERP accuracy in a production environment. This role is hands-on and operational responsible for ensuring raw materials WIP and finished goods are accurately tracked and available to support manufacturing schedules.
The Supply Manager works closely with production purchasing and warehouse teams and must have hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
Key Responsibilities
- Own inventory accuracy across raw materials WIP and finished goods using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Manage cycle counts physical inventories and reconciliation of discrepancies
- Execute and oversee inventory transactions in D365 (receipts issues transfers adjustments)
- Coordinate material flow between purchasing warehouse and production
- Ensure materials are staged and available to support production schedules
- Track lot control traceability and inventory locations
- Identify root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions
- Support audits compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain inventory procedures and best practices to support manufacturing operations
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in inventory supply or materials management within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (required)
- Experience managing raw materials WIP and finished goods
- Strong understanding of inventory transactions reconciliation and cycle counting
- Comfortable working on the production floor and in warehouse environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metals aluminum extrusion or fabrication manufacturing
- Familiarity with ERP-driven supply or materials management processes
- Experience supporting audits or quality systems
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement exposure
