Position Summary
The Project coordinator/manager Data Transformation (Application Transformation) is responsible for leading complex enterprise-level projects that focus on transforming and optimizing data within application ecosystems. This role ensures successful delivery of initiatives that modernize data flows enhance application performance and enable seamless integration across platforms.
The position requires strong leadership deep understanding of application architectures and data ecosystems and expertise in project governance and Agile methodologies.
This role demands exceptional business partnership capabilities to ensure alignment with strategic technology initiatives and overarching business objectives.
Project Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans charters and schedules for data and analytics initiatives.
Define scope objectives deliverables and success metrics for each project.
Manage RAID logs (Risks Assumptions Issues Dependencies) and ensure proactive mitigation strategies.
Agile Project Management
Apply Agile principles and practices to manage iterative development cycles.
Facilitate sprint planning daily stand-ups backlog grooming and retrospectives.
Ensure alignment between Agile teams and business stakeholders for continuous delivery.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for business IT and governance stakeholders.
Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams including data engineers analysts and business SMEs.
Prepare and deliver concise status reports dashboards and executive updates.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Support adoption of data standards metadata management and stewardship practices.
Contribute to playbooks and operating procedures for data projects.
Risk & Issue Management
Identify and escalate critical risks and constraints with recommended solutions.
Monitor KPIs and success metrics tied to project deliverables and business outcomes.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor project teams including analysts and technical resources.
Coordinate resource allocation across multiple workstreams and vendors.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance
Implement quality control measures for all deliverables.
Conduct post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions to improve future performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data lifecycle data governance ETL processes BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) and analytics platforms.
Project Management: Proficiency in PMO methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid) budgeting and resource planning.
Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
