Job Summary
Job Summary: Storeroom Attendant
- Serve as an on-site representative at the customers location managing daily inventory tasks.
- Receive stock issue and cycle count customer and/or Vallen inventory.
- Maintain a professional clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
- Assist with receiving shipments and performing inventory counts.
- Issue parts and materials to the appropriate personnel or areas.
- Load vending machines and point-of-use (POU) areas within the facility.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and push carts.
- Use computers for inventory tracking and related tasks.
- Work as part of a small reliable and dependable team.
- Lift items up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Wear steel toe shoes (required for the job preferred for the interview).
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; overtime is rare.
- Temp-to-hire position.
