What Youll Do

Location: Alameda CA (Hybrid: 23 days onsite)
Salary: $25/hour

The World Market Internship Program is a paid 8-week experience designed to give students hands-on real-world exposure to the retail industry. Youll get to work on real projects meet awesome people and explore what a career in retail could look like for you.

Interns will work on individual and group projects while gaining exposure to various areas through field trips executive lunches workshops and cross-department shadowing opportunities.

Departments participating in this years program include:

• E-Commerce
• Human Resources/Workers Compensation and Safety
• Inventory Management
• Merchandising
• Technology/Cybersecurity

What Youll Bring

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions.
• A proactive can-do attitude anticipating needs and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills working effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel Outlook and PowerPoint (and an eagerness to learn new tools).
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment.
• Prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
