Summary
Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from start-up through close-out. Youll own schedule budget quality safety and client satisfaction while coordinating field operations vendors and documentation to deliver on scope cost time and quality targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Project Schedule; drive look-aheads and critical path.
Prepare/manage: subcontracts purchase orders project budget/SOV shop/layout drawings as-builts O&M manuals close-out.
Administer project documents: RFIs submittals change orders updates to plans/specs/product data.
Hire/transfer/redeploy electrical craft as needed to maintain continuity and productivity.
Monthly billing/invoicing; accurate cost reporting and cash management.
Obtain required permits; ensure compliance with NEC/NFPA/UBC/LSC/UPC and jurisdictional requirements.
Manage materials tools and equipment; oversee subcontractor performance and QC.
Maintain a safe work environment; enforce OSHA and client/company safety standards.
Proactively resolve issues and disputes; drive timely pricing/settlement of change orders.
Keep organized project files/logs per company procedures; conduct staff performance reviews.
Lead client meetings; provide value engineering and technical input; ensure work is neat code-compliant and professional.
Qualifications
Solid working knowledge of NEC UBC LSC NFPA UPC (and local codes).
Proven experience managing $5$15M electrical projects.
5 years as a Project Manager (or equivalent).
Demonstrated success with schedule budget change management and client relations.
Professional presence; clear written and verbal communication.
Nice to Have
MS Project or Primavera P6; Bluebeam/Smartsheet.
Arizona market experience and relationships with local inspectors/utilities.
Claims avoidance/documentation best practices.
