Summary:
-
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on technical tasks including gathering formatting compiling and analyzing engineering data and design changes
-
Produce engineering documentation reports markings designs drawings (flowcharts block diagrams schematics) and machine operation procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
-
Serve as a liaison between MEs and production teams providing technical guidance and timely problem resolution to support assembly performance
-
Review respond to and adjudicate EODIs and floor support requests working closely with assembly teams to identify and correct issues
-
Update assembly work instructions based on drawings or models reviewing content with MEs prior to release
-
Assist MEs in Qnotes and EODIs entering data into manufacturing tools for planning routing work instruction generation status reporting and issue resolution

Support PMT (Performance Management Team) initiatives and implement lean principles and process improvements
-
Maintain and control shop aids program and maintain assembly-related machines and optimize performance
-
Work closely with the Wire Cut area to set up machines troubleshoot issues and improve productivity and quality
Requirements:
-
High School diploma or equivalent experience/education with additional technical training
-
Must be a U.S. citizen due to program access requirements
-
Minimum 3 5 years of manufacturing experience
-
Functional knowledge of tooling: 2 4 years
-
Lean Manufacturing: < 1 year
-
Manufacturing & Production: 2 4 years
-
Oral & Written Communication: 2 4 years
-
Ability to work in production environment: 2 4 years
-
Blueprint Reading: 2 4 years
-
Cable Harness Stripping & Crimping Wires: 2 4 years
-
Technical and Creative Skills: 2 4 years
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering design drawings and specifications
-
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Publisher)
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to provide technical guidance and problem resolution to production floor operators
-
Familiarity with cable and harness production; ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
-
Experience with mechanical power and pneumatic tools
-
Experience with cable wire cutter and stripper machines
Desired Skills:
-
Familiarity with SAP (Qnotes Routings Bills of Material) or similar manufacturing systems
-
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques
-
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
