A Manufacturing Engineer designs implements and optimizes production processes equipment and workflows to maximize efficiency reduce costs and ensure product quality. They troubleshoot manufacturing issues develop assembly methods and use tools like CAD and Lean methodologies to improve production often working on-site in industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
Process Engineering & Improvement
- Develop implement and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and other operational excellence tools.
- Identify process gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Troubleshoot investigate and resolve daily production issues bottlenecks or machine failures.
Data & Documentation Management
- Manage and maintain production-related documentation including work instructions process flows control plans technical standards standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure proper version control and data accuracy across manufacturing systems.
Project Management
- Lead and support manufacturing-related projects from concept through implementation.
- Develop project timelines budgets and resource plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
Acquisition of Tools Machines & Equipment
- Identify needs for new tools machines and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Lead specification development supplier evaluation and procurement processes.
- Oversee installation validation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure equipment meets safety quality and production standards.
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (industry-specific experience preferred).
Additional Information :

- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
