Role OverviewCompany is looking for a mature self-driven HR professional who can independently handle all HR functions end-to-end. The role requires a hands-on HR Manager who can work closely with management factory staff and office teams to ensure smooth HR operations statutory compliance and people management.
Key Responsibilities1.
Recruitment & Manpower Planning- Handle end-to-end recruitment for shop-floor engineers supervisors and office staff
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower requirements
- Manage sourcing through consultants portals referrals and local hiring
- Conduct interviews salary negotiations and onboarding
2. HR Operations & Administration- Maintain employee records attendance leave and payroll coordination
- Ensure timely joining formalities documentation and induction
- Draft HR letters: appointment confirmation warning increment exit etc.
- Manage employee database (manual or HR software)
3. Payroll Compliance & Statutory Matters- Coordinate payroll processing with accounts
- Handle PF ESI PT Factory Act Labour Law compliance and audits
- Liaison with consultants and government departments when required
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws applicable to manufacturing units
4. Employee Relations & Discipline- Act as a bridge between management and employees
- Handle grievances disciplinary actions and counseling
- Maintain discipline and factory HR coordination
- Support management in policy implementation
5. Performance Management & Appraisals- Design and implement performance appraisal systems
- Coordinate annual increments promotions and reviews
- Track KPIs and employee productivity
6. HR Policies & Culture- Develop implement and update HR policies & SOPs
- Promote a positive work culture aligned with company values
- Support management in organizational development initiatives
7. Training & Development- Identify training needs for technical and behavioral skills
- Coordinate internal and external training programs
- Support skill development for shop-floor and technical staff
8. Exit & Attrition Management- Handle resignations exit interviews and full & final settlements
- Analyze attrition trends and suggest corrective measures
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws & factory HR practices
- Experience in manufacturing / engineering industry HR
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English Hindi and Gujarati
- Strong documentation negotiation and people-handling skills
- Practical solution-oriented and disciplined approach
