Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
How does your working day look like
- Paying close attention to detail youll make sure our furnishings are always where the designer placed them
- You follow every grain of dust with eagle eyes even if all the rooms are to be cleaned at the same time.
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Ensure Housekeeping departmental standards are followed
- Respond timely to guests special requests for miscellaneous items ie: cribs cots extra towels etc.
- Collect dirty dishes garbage and recyclables
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Evening shift
Qualifications :
Your personality counts more than your CV
- You want to learn something new and you have a sense of cleanliness and order
- You have fun working with people and you will have the opportunity to gain your first experience in the hotel.
- Youre not just bringing your abilities but also your character
- Previous Housekeeping experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
