Fleet Superintendent – Stena Rederi AS – RoRo business area

On behalf of Stena Rederi A/S MARPRO Group is looking for a Fleet Superintendent for the office in Hellerup. You will report to the Fleet Manager of the RoRo business area.

The job

As Fleet Superintendent you will oversee assigned vessels to ensure safe efficient operations in full compliance with statutory and company standards. You are supporting Masters and Chief Engineers and are responsible for maintenance planning dry-dockings budgeting and technical compliance.

You will manage vessel performance from a safety operational and financial perspective including reviewing reports following up on maintenance activities coordinating repairs spares and dry-dockings in accordance with company purchasing procedures and approved budgets.

Responsibilities include carrying out onboard inspections and liaising with Flag State Class and other stakeholders you are the link between ship and shore.

In addition you are responsible for conducting annual appraisals of Masters and Chief Engineers to support their ongoing development.

Professional qualifications

• Marine Engineer or Dual Officer

• 25 years of experience in a shore-based technical engineering or superintendent role combined with previous seagoing experience

• Experience with drydockings maintenance planning and technical troubleshooting

• Experience with RoRo or RoPAX vessels is an advantage

• Knowledge of class requirements international maritime regulations and safety standards

• Structured proactive and solutionoriented

• Strong focus on safety quality and compliance

• Teamoriented mindset with good collaboration skills

• Commercially aware and able to balance costs with operational needs

• Positive attitude and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Fluent in English

• Valid work and residence permit for Denmark
