Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Evening Shift
Location: Falmouth MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $50 $55 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a long-term care setting. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising nursing assistants ensuring high-quality care in compliance with federal state and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures
Supervise and direct nursing assistants and support staff during assigned shifts
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians ensuring proper resident identification
Accurately document nursing care physician orders treatments and resident responses
Transcribe and implement physician orders into resident charts medication records and care plans
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and nursing leadership
Participate in resident admissions transfers and discharges including required documentation
Make rounds with physicians and assist in care planning as needed
Perform clinical procedures including catheter care tube feedings wound care suctioning and specimen collection
Take and record vital signs and perform routine clinical assessments
Educate residents and family members regarding health care needs and treatment plans
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to resident rights and HIPAA guidelines
Participate in facility inspections and surveys as required
Promote a culture of service excellence teamwork and compassionate care
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Current active and unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license
BLS / CPR and AED certification required
Ability to read write speak and understand English
