Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team on the night this role you will provide high-quality patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations within a coordinated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence teamwork and delivering safe effective nursing care.
Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in alignment with the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nursing standards and best practices.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Demonstrate competency in medical-surgical nursing skills including:
- Clinical assessments
- Equipment use and management
- Medication administration and management
- Accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Monitor patient
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans treatments and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards.
Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New Hampshire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
