Job Summary
Take charge of the cash flow! Join a leading construction group as a Cashbook / Creditors Clerk and own the banking cycle from day one.
A well-established construction group is seeking an experienced Cashbook / Creditors Clerk to join its finance team. This is a newly created role and is ideal for a confident detail-driven individual who can take full ownership of the banking and payment cycle in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full management of the banking cycle including accurate postings to the general ledger
- Processing and control of high volumes of daily payments
- Oversight of all banking administration functions requiring persistence and strong follow-through
- Creditors processing reconciliations and payment controls
- Ensuring accuracy compliance and that deadlines are consistently met
- Working closely with senior management during the initial phase of the role
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed finance qualification
- Approximately 10 years experience in a similar commercial cashbook / creditors role
- Proven creditors experience in a high-volume payment environment (essential)
- Strong attention to detail with a resilient assertive personality
- Solid Excel skills
- Experience with BuildSmart or similar construction accounting systems would be advantageous
