International Private Bank, Private Banker for China Market, Executive Director, based in Hong Kong

Private Banking is involved with every facet of wealth management including investments wealth structuring philanthropy liquidity and credit management as well as tax and estate planning. Our business model focuses on deep client relationships an integrated team structure and a platform of depth and breadth.

As a China Banker in our International Private Bank business you will understand each clients wealth objects and investment requirements and work in close partnership with specialists in proposing delivering and executing solutions as well as in identifying new business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Focus on Chinese UHNWindividuals and families as well as institutions
• Manage all aspects of client relationship develop and maintain long-term relationships through strong personal networks and contacts
• Build portfolio of clients using resources and expertise of JPMorgans platforms products services and networks
• Actively involved in prospecting and acquiring new clients cultivate prospect lists and actively convert them into clients and deepen relationships
• Update clients regularly on markets portfolio performance investments opportunities andrisks
• Oversee private client relationships by providing strategic advice based on each clients wealth objectives. Provide access to specialists and manage clients investment portfolios
• Work with other team members on client sponsorship / Know Your Client

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

• University degree holder and 10 years of professional experience in a similar capacity
• Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (private individuals and families)
• Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments
• Proven track record on investment sales and / or relationship management performance
• Strong presentation skills an excellent communicator with client facing experience a definite advantage
• Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in demanding environment
• Detail-oriented and results-focused
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines
• Appropriate local regulatory qualifications and licenses
• Fluency in English required with Mandarin a definite plus
