Job Title: Hybrid Cloud & Data Center Migration Engineer Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Cloud & Data Center Migration Engineer Manager with up to 14 years of experience in cloud architecture hybrid infrastructure and large-scale data center migration programs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing target-state architectures leading cloud transformations and orchestrating migration waves across compute storage network platform and application layers. This role requires deep technical leadership migration governance stakeholder engagement and hands-on architectural decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design of hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-prem data centers with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud environments.
• Architect end-to-end migration strategies including assessment gap analysis transformation planning and execution governance.
• Define landing zones network segmentation identity models storage patterns security architectures and application migration patterns.
• Lead migration waves across VMware workloads physical servers databases middleware and application portfolios.
• Collaborate with platform network storage security and application teams to design scalable and secure hybrid architectures.
• Develop detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs) as-built documentation topology diagrams and migration runbooks.
• Guide engineering teams in implementing IaC automation modernization backup strategies and cloud-native services.
• Participate in client workshops solutioning RFP responses and architectural governance forums.
• Provide leadership in modernization patterns such as rehost replatform refactor containerization and platform uplift.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise cloud governance FinOps models resilience patterns and operational readiness.

Qualifications:

• Up to 14 years in cloud architecture hybrid cloud design and DC migration programs.
• Expertise with Azure/AWS/GCP architectures VMware virtualization Windows/Linux and infrastructure modernization patterns.
• Strong understanding of migration tooling (Azure Migrate CloudEndure PlateSpin HCX Velostrata etc.).
• Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform ARM/Bicep) automation CI/CD and container platforms.
• Experience architecting resilient systems: backup DR HA multi-zone and hybrid connectivity.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking: VPN ExpressRoute TGW/VPC Peering routing segmentation.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field; cloud architect certifications are preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data center exit programs colocation migrations or multi-region hybrid deployments.
• Knowledge of identity and access models (Azure AD IAM RBAC Zero Trust).
• Familiarity with monitoring logging observability and platform reliability engineering.
• Strong communication client leadership documentation and architectural decision-making skills.
