The team

Our Financial Reporting and Corporate Advisory team partners with clients to deliver expert financial management services strategic insights and compliance support. We help clients achieve their goals through robust financial analysis and tailored solutions.

The role

As Manager Financial Reporting and Corporate Advisory youll lead a high-performing team and provide expert financial management support to clients. This includes overseeing financial operations analysing data ensuring compliance and fostering strong client relationships.

Youll also mentor and develop your team drive process improvements and contribute to AFSs strategic initiatives.

About you

Were looking for someone who brings:

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or related field.
• CA qualification (or equivalent) highly preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial management and accounting ideally in public practice or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and compliance standards.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.

Location & Community Commitment

While hybrid work is available this role is primarily based in Bendigo. Youll be expected to work from the office approximately two days per week and occasionally travel to client sites in Bendigo and surrounds. Applicants must have the right to work and live in Australia.
