Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - ITIL Change Manager
We are seeking an experienced ITIL Change Manager with relevant years of hands-on experience in managing IT changes across complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all IT changes are assessed approved implemented and reviewed in a controlled and efficient manner minimizing risk and service disruption while enabling business agility.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the IT Change Management process in alignment with ITIL best practices
Plan coordinate and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Technical Advisory Board (TAB) meetings
Assess change requests for risk impact dependencies and compliance
Ensure proper categorization prioritization approval and scheduling of changes
Work closely with IT operations application teams infrastructure teams and business stakeholders
Monitor and manage standard normal urgent and emergency changes
Ensure changes are implemented within agreed SLAs and governance frameworks
Maintain accurate change records in ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
Conduct post-implementation reviews (PIRs) and drive continual service improvement
Maintain end-to-end traceability between change records incidents problems releases and configuration items (CIs)
Identify and mitigate change-related risks and conflicts
Produce regular reports and metrics on change performance (success rate failed changes emergency changes etc.)
Drive continual improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness efficiency and reliability of the change management process.
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Significant years of hands-on experience in IT Change Management
Strong practical knowledge of ITIL Change Enablement / Change Management
Experience working in enterprise-scale IT environments
Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure applications and Network Operations
Ability to manage multiple changes in high-pressure environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Certification (strongly preferred)
