Job Title: Sr. Palo Alto Architect
Location: Remote (with up to 25% travel to Dallas TX)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Palo Alto Architect to join our customer team. This role is pivotal in shaping the architectural design and future direction of our Palo Alto solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with a combined team of 10-15 professionals taking the lead in architectural design and substantial deployments. This is a remote position with occasional travel to Dallas TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Lead the architectural design and strategy for the future of the Palo Alto solutions ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Solution Development: Develop comprehensive architectural blueprints and roadmaps for Palo Alto solutions focusing on scalability security and performance.
- Deployment Leadership: Oversee and guide substantial deployments ensuring best practices and standards are adhered to throughout the process.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the customer team and other stakeholders to gather requirements provide insights and ensure the architectural design meets the needs of the organization.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical expert for Palo Alto solutions providing guidance and support to the team and stakeholders.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation including design specifications deployment plans and operational procedures.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in Palo Alto technologies and industry trends to ensure the solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex technical issues related to Palo Alto solutions providing innovative solutions and recommendations.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their understanding and capabilities in Palo Alto technologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network security architecture with a strong focus on Palo Alto solutions.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of Palo Alto Networks technologies including firewalls Panorama and GlobalProtect.
- Certifications: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Project Management: Proven experience in leading large-scale deployment projects and managing cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% to Dallas TX as required.
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
