Job Summary
Overview:
Proficient in software quality assurance actively involved in end-to-end testing and validation cycles of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Job Description:
Responsible for developing testing and maintaining software products or solutions including writing test cases. Executes complex code modifications testing and debugging tasks offering high-level analysis related to software design and development resolving problems effectively.
Job Duties:
- Participate in planning developing building and testing phases of software development.
- Record issues in a defect-tracking system follow-up and close them.
- Develop customer-focused test plans and maintain testing environments.
- Write comprehensive test cases to verify software functionality and meet stated requirements.
- (SQAE only) Visualize articulate and simplify complex testing areas into manageable parts.
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of testing concepts and hands-on experience in scripting languages.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Must possess patience meticulousness and logical thinking. Capable of prioritizing tasks and collaborating effectively in a team. Strong problem-solving analytical administrative organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
Qualifications :
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of QA experience in functional testing automated testing performance testing etc.
- Proficiency in designing and coding automation frameworks to meet functional and business requirements.
- Strong understanding of test case development and expertise in building test approaches for complex features.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills in Windows OS.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and ability to perform under pressure.
- Experience or familiarity with DevOps practices and tools would be advantageous.
