Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate professional and results-driven care for every patient while coordinating with insurance providers and legal teams when DescriptionWe are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join our team in Memphis. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic pain management or rehabilitation-focused outpatient care and will play a key role in ensuring patients receive high-quality care from intake through position involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities and requires a friendly professional demeanor strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:Assist providers with patient exams and procedures including pain management therapies and rehabilitation protocolsTake vital signs medical histories and document patient information accurately in EMR/EHRPrepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for useAdminister medications and injections under provider supervision (as allowed by state law and certifications)Coordinate patient flow and schedule follow-up appointmentsSupport personal injury and sports injury patients with accurate documentation for insurance and legal purposesMaintain compliance with HIPAA and all clinic policies
Requirements: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) requiredExperience in pain management orthopedic sports medicine or rehab clinic settings preferredKnowledge of phlebotomy EKG and basic lab procedures a plusStrong communication organizational and multitasking skillsProficient with EMR/EHR systemsBLS/CPR certification
