Job Summary

Star Nursing has Kevala Needs for CMAs in Atlantic IA!

Facility: Skilled Nursing

Location: Atlantic IA

Start Date: 2/27 - 3/1

Shifts: AM PM

Length: Per Diem

Pay Rate:

Per diem: $24/hr.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepares patients for examinations and procedures

Takes and documents vital signs height weight and basic health information

Performs clinical support tasks such as urine testing glucose checks and other non-invasive procedures as trained

Administers medications and injections when permitted by state law and facility policy and under licensed supervision

Assists providers and nursing staff during patient visits and treatments

Documents care observations and services accurately in the medical record

Maintains exam rooms medical supplies and equipment to ensure readiness and cleanliness

Observes patient condition and reports changes or concerns to licensed staff promptly

Follows all facility policies procedures and clinical protocols

Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards

Treats patients visitors and staff with courtesy and respect

Maintains professionalism reliability and accountability at all times

Requirements:

Step # 1

Resume - long-term care experience
Current - BLS/CPR
Skills checklist
1 to 2 current Supervisor references

Step # 2

Physical (within the last 12 months)
PPD (within the last 12 months)
MMR Varicella
Hep B (or decline)
Tdap/Flu (or decline)
COVID results negative current
Exams
LGBT Training Certification
Copy or drivers license and SS card
Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
