Job Summary
Job Description: Journeyman Plumber
Job Responsibilities:
- Install repair and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Diagnose plumbing issues using various tools and techniques to ensure efficient problem resolution.
- Follow safety regulations and local plumbing codes.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding plumbing services.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to prevent issues.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior plumbers or apprentices as needed.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and costs related to plumbing projects.
- Respond to emergency plumbing situations in a timely manner.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid plumbing license (Master or Journeyman level) recognized in Texas.
- Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Desired Experience:
- Experience as a Master or Journeyman Plumber with a good track record in plumbing services.
- Prior experience in both residential and commercial plumbing projects is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service roles and interacting with clients effectively.
