Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities :

Work in a multi-disciplinary team being responsible for the embedded software

Translate system requirements into sub-system (product) and software component requirements

Document the requirements and design

Present concepts and solutions to the sponsors

Read and review electronic schematics

Design code and if it makes sense write unit-test for the software

Maximize quality/test-automation to enable continuous integration

Keep up-to-date of technical developments in the own field

Strong drive for continuous improvement

Lead others by example - act as a servant leader

Qualifications :

Educational qualification:

You have a university education in computer or software science at Bachelor level or higher

Experience :

You have at least 5 years of experience with embedded software/product development

Mandatory/requires Skills :
You have fluent English language skills (verbal and written)

You are able and willing to work at least 3 days per week at the Ovar office

You are willing to work in Eindhoven/Netherlands 1-2 weeks per time several times per year

You have experience with embedded CPU architectures (e.g. ARM microcontrollers Xilinx Zynq)

You have experience in using (Embedded) Linux and FreeRTOS

You have experience with programming languages C ( C is a pre) Bash-scripting Python

You have a proactive and eager mindset to get the job done helping others

You have experience with Yocto Embedded-Demo-kits

Pre: You have experience with CM tools like SVN and GIT Jenkins Artifactory

Pre: You have experience using Docker

Pre: You have experience with Ethernet and the basic communication protocols TCP/IP RSTP

Pre: Experience with busses peripherals such as UART SPI I2C I2S GPIO
