Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for but not limited to driving new business acquisition nurturing and expanding current business relationships and accelerating revenue growth for Southend Pharmacy. This role involves the full sales cycle and requires working closely with customers/businesses over the phone email and digital platforms. Note: While this role supports current accounts it is not an Account Management position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting (Hunting):Source new business opportunities through creative and proactive prospecting efforts including researching potential clients and initiating contact (full sales cycle responsibility).
- Customer Qualification & Sales:Conduct outbound calls/emails to qualify potential customers provide tailored solutions for weight loss medication and drive sales opportunities for new and expanding business.
- Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business; actively collaborate with Account Managers to help grow current business accounts.
- Negotiation & Support:Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and develop and negotiate tailored pricing solutions that meet client needs while maintaining profitability.
- Reporting & Performance:Track and report sales activities and opportunities in the CRM software; consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
- Must be based in the Houston TX area (or within commutable distance) to accommodate occasional in-office requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in inside sales or telesales with demonstrated success in a full-cycle inside sales role.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare or related industries.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage and influence customers effectively.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales tools. Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail Sheets Docs Slides and Drive).
Preferred
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- Proven remote work experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person over the phone or via virtual meeting.
- Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms such as typing.
