We are looking for someone who wants to help people with disabilities and the elderly obtain appropriate quality services to maximize independence dignity and quality of life and works with aging and advocates for people with disabilities interested parties community partners WA State Developmental Disabilities Council The Arc Washington and Area Agencies on Aging to ensure a client-focused service delivery system.
Join the Home and Community Living Administration (HCLA) and help support both DDCS and HCLA to develop short-term housing resources for clients displaced from their home for short duration needs such as home modifications adaptations or pest eradication. This position is part of a team assigned responsibility for development of partnerships services subsidies and resources to increase availability stability and access to affordable and accessible housing and tenancy support for individuals with complex needs.
As a Social and Health Program Consultant 4 youll serve as a subject matter expert and trusted resource for staff and leadership. Youll provide consultation training technical assistance and policy interpretation while helping ensure program compliance quality assurance and continuous improvement. Youll also collaborate with internal teams community partners and advocates to strengthen service delivery for clients statewide.
This position plays a critical role in translating complex policies and systems into clear usable guidance for staffand bridging our services in an one of a kind role.
