Core responsibilities include rapid assessment triage and stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients; administration of medications and life support therapies; continuous monitoring and documentation; and close collaboration with physicians PAs and nurses to optimize patient flow and outcomes. The role strengthens leadership adaptability and clinical judgment within a dynamic ED environment and offers opportunities to advance within the specialty.
