SUMMARY
The tag & title administrator prepares and processes tag and title work for the transfer of documents to the DMV for all states.
- Preparing tag and title documents
- Submitting all legal transfer documents to theDMV/MVA
- Keeping current with applicable lawsChecks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete including lienholder if any.
- Accurately provide refunds or requests funds for additional fees due.Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to the Office Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Job attendance is a key to performing this and other duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a dealership (preferred)
- Previous tag and title experience (preferred)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to multitask
