Job Summary
Entry-Level CNC Machinist Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Machines: Run computer-controlled equipment to produce metal parts with precision.
- Assist with Setup: Help set up machines load raw materials and calibrate tools under guidance.
- Perform Quality Checks: Use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to inspect finished parts.
- Support Maintenance: Clean and maintain machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Document Production: Record measurements and report any issues to supervisors.
Skills Youll Develop
- Technical Know-How: Build familiarity with CNC programming and machine controls.
- Problem Solving: Learn to identify and resolve minor production issues.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with experienced machinists and engineers.
Work Environment
Expect to work with:
- CNC lathes mills and grinders
- Metal bar stock materials (e.g. steel aluminum)

Shift Options:
- 5:00 AM 2:00 PM
- 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Note: the 8 AM shift will transition to a later start time at the beginning of the year.)
