Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic
- Analyze troubleshoot maintain and repair a variety of CNC electro-mechanical control systems and machine sub-systems for precision machining equipment.
- Detect and address machine abnormalities using real-time data (servo load temperature vibration acoustics etc.).
- Support predictive maintenance efforts to achieve zero breakdowns and zero product defects.
- Read and interpret schematics drawings and specifications for industrial machining equipment.
- Program and operate CNC equipment to verify accuracy of maintenance and repairs.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Office skills to write detailed repair reports.
- Use power tools hand tools and operate a forklift as needed.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment adhering to company and industry standards.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members to resolve issues.
- Focus heavily on preventive maintenance (PM) actions.
- Preferred experience in Ballbar testing analysis and working with various CNC controllers (Fanuc Mitsubishi Heidenhain Mazatrol).
- Preferred experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC and servo drive hardware/software.
- Preferred experience with a range of CNC equipment brands (Mazak KERN Tsugami EuroTech Rofin Fanuc EDM Maier Citizen).
- Associate degree or technical certification in advanced manufacturing or related field is desired.
