We are currently recruiting for a compassionate Hospice Spiritual Counselor to reliably serve patients throughout Bucks and Montgomery county. This is a per diem position.
What youll do:
As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice Spiritual Counselor you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA clinician you will:
- Develop and adhere to the clients spiritual care plan.
- Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and family members.
- Complete documentation accurately and timely.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must demonstrate an appropriate attitude.
- Participate in providing bereavement services to family members referral sources and the community.
What you should have:
- Bachelors degree required Masters degree in Counseling preferred or have graduated from an approved divinity school.
- One year of experience in a spiritual counseling capacity in a health care setting preferably hospice or palliative care.
- Must be willing to travel coverage area of office.
- Previous home healthcare experience welcomed but not required. We will train you.
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned
- A calm and reassuring presence active listening skills excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication.
- The ability to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated with compassion excellence and reliability.
