This position provides guidance and counseling to individuals with disabilities in achieving employment outcomes. Responsibilities include developing individual rehabilitation plans counseling consumers on job and career development goals providing on-site job coaching or assistive devices approving purchasing and monitoring the quality of goods and services and consulting and coaching Workforce partners community rehabilitation providers businesses and other stakeholders on serving individuals with disabilities.

Knowledge of psychosocial assessment and vocational rehabilitation counseling.
Knowledge of assistive technology.
Knowledge of disability rights culture and history.
Ability to be flexible and balance between literal adherence to rules and the use of policies as a guide.
Skill in working with individuals with disabilities.
Ability to interpret and use medical and psychological information to make sound decisions.
Ability to be proactive organized and manage caseloads.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a field of study reasonably related to vocational rehabilitation counseling disability studies human services business administration special education psychology or communications or another field that reasonably prepares individuals to work with consumers and employers.
One year of experience in rehabilitation counseling career counseling human services or human resources.
Equivalent combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
Preferred qualifications - Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related degree for Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) certification.
