Job Summary

QA Incharge (Contract) - Steel Industry - Jamshedpur India

We are seeking a proactive and experienced QA Incharge for a contract position within the Steel industry in Jamshedpur Jharkhand India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Quality Assurance and a minimum of 3 years of experience with a maximum of 10 years demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of quality control processes within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all Quality Assurance activities within the steel plant operations.
Develop implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Analyze quality data and identify areas for improvement in production processes.
Collaborate with production engineering and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
Train and mentor junior QA staff on quality assurance best practices.
Prepare detailed quality reports for management review.
Ensure that all materials and finished products meet specified quality requirements.
Manage the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (.) degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance preferably within the steel industry.
Proven expertise in QA methodologies and quality control techniques.
Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in relevant QA software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
