Job Summary
Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Brodhead WI
Contract Length: 20 Weeks
Pay Rate: Up to $24/hour
Schedule
Monday Tuesday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Wednesday Thursday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and versatile Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical competencies excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Greet room and assist patients during clinic visits
Schedule appointments and manage incoming phone calls
Measure and record vital signs
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
Administer vaccines as directed
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Provide general clinical and administrative support
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
Foster positive working relationships with clinical and administrative staff
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (externships not included)
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Proven phlebotomy and venipuncture experience required
Prior EMR system experience required
Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced patient-focused environment emphasizing health education and outreach
Required Skills

BLS or CPR certification
