Job Summary
Job Purpose
The company requires an experienced Accountant to manage trade-related accounting duties of our Cement Trading entities.
Key Responsibilities
The Accountant will:
- Manage AP operations prepayment deposit and inventory position for Hong Kong & overseas entities
- Responsible for bank and loan reconciliation include current and saving accounts loans accounts fixed deposit and pledged deposit accounts
- Responsible for intercompany transactions fund transfer and reconciliation
- Assist with year-end statutory disclosures and audit request
- Ensure key internal controls are in place and adhered to
Key Result Areas(Key Performance Indicators
- Maintain proper Prepayment AP operations and timely settlement of payment with supporting and approval documentation
- Maintain accurate bank loan ledger
- Closing the month-end on time and monthly schedule maintained (Bank & Loan Section)
Education Experience and Skills
Education & Qualifications:
- Diploma or above in Accounting or currently pursuing professional accountancy degree
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
- Have knowledge in commodity and trading field is a preferred
- Hands-on experience in Oracle / ERP system is a must
Skills:
- Good in spoken & written English & Chinese
- Proficient in MS word excel outlook and internet banking
- Detail oriented positive attitude and self-motivated
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
