Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Requires a B.E/ in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 1 2 years of experience in cost estimation particularly for oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Strong knowledge of materials equipment and construction methods used in oil and gas industry projects.
- Responsible for cost estimation of modular buildings data centers living quarters and blast-rated modules for oil & gas (offshore/onshore) petrochemical and refinery projects.
- Uses industry estimation tools and adheres to relevant codes and standards (IMO SOLAS BS NFPA).
- Analyzes project scope tender documents drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Evaluates and negotiates subcontractor and supplier quotations for compliance and competitiveness.
- Develops competitive pricing strategies and prepares Bill of Quantities (BOQs) in line with industry standards.
- Conducts cost risk analysis and identifies potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepares bid documentation technical clarifications and pricing sheets for client submission.
- Maintains cost databases unit rate analysis and records of historical projects for future tenders.
- Supports post-bid negotiations and assists in the handover of estimates to the execution team.
- Provides support in work scope selection and optimization during project execution.
- Assists project team in identifying and capturing capital efficiency opportunities and estimating risks.
- Performs cost reconciliation as projects progress and helps prepare cost reports for benchmarking.
