We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at Grand Mercure Mysore India. As a key member of our hospitality management team you will oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets ensuring exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Lead and manage the food and beverage department maintaining high standards of service and product quality
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Oversee inventory management cost control and budget planning for the department
- Recruit train and mentor food and beverage staff fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menus incorporating local and international cuisine trends
- Coordinate and supervise special events banquets and catering services
- Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maximize efficiency
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management preferably in a luxury hotel setting
- Proven track record in banquet and event management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Opera Systems and other food & beverage management software
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick effective decisions
- Familiarity with local cuisine and cultural preferences in Mysuru and surrounding regions
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Innovative mindset with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences
