DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience acrossa number ofthe businessesat TD. We lead strategydevelopmentand support implementation of TDInsurances environmentaland socialcommitments while providing national and international industry leadership on sustainability issues. Our focus is on increasingthe resilience of TDInsurance its customerscolleaguesand the communities it serves to the effects of climate change.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Daily media scans:news on environmental and social issues relevant to the insurance industry andTDI in particular competitoractivities related to environment/social UNEP FI news

Provide updates tothe Sustainability team others internally as relevant

Maintain the Green Teams blog posting at least once a week

Research:

Review of Canadian and US insurerssustainability reportsto understandwhatCanadian insurersaredoing on ESG issues: their strategies thought leadership media everything

Focus on Social: how are insurers and other financial institutions addressing the principle of financial inclusion

Support planning for Seneca conference Advisory Board meetings activities withAffinity partner institutions Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction etc.

Support all Green Team activities research and recommend new activities focus on virtual/remote opportunities local activities for offices across the country

Assistwith documenting activities for 2026Principles forSustainableInsurancedisclosure

Identifyindependent research opportunity contributing to the teams mandate and challenging the organization to make a larger impact

Attend meetings and events with team members as appropriate

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Currentlyenrolled inanundergraduate degreeinSustainability Environmental Science or program with a relevant environmental or social focus

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school atthe start of your work term

Coursework and/or related activities with a sustainability focus are an asset
