About the Role

Working with a team of technical SMEs in our Site Applications team you will be responsible for engineering activities across a portfolio of 160 Commercial Off the Shelf software products deployed across both IT and OT at WA Iron Ore sites.

In this role your key accountabilities will include:

  • Designreactive andpreventative maintenancestrategies lifecycleupgradesand enhancement activities to existing products
  • Develop business cases and project financial models for submission into capital funding pipeline
  • Provide technicalassistanceto projectsduring the delivery of new applications
  • Writetechnical specifications high leveldesignsand other technical documentswith input from subject matter experts
  • Take a key role inmaintaininghardware and software asset management plans and records
  • Provide inputinto plans tostandardise andoptimise operationaland technicalpractices
  • Identifyand contribute to automation of tools and processes to continuously improve both reactive and proactive activities
  • Identifyand actionopportunities forconsolidationsimplification andincreasedoperational excellence
  • Work both autonomously and in groups and prioritise work accordingly
  • Engagewithinternal and external stakeholders
  • Strive to achieve 100% safety 100% customer value and 0% waste

About You

  • Strong experienceinrelevant Engineering(Reliability EngineeringorProjects) orIT roles(Solution Architect) in the mining industry there is supportfrom the team to help upskillyouin areas where you mayhave gaps in experience compared to the role description
  • Understanding ofengineeringpracticesused to maintain andoperatesystemsthroughtheirend-to-end lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experienceworking collaboratively inateamof technical specialists
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across relevant stakeholders to provide quick andaccurateresponses to all queries and relevant support asrequired
  • Degree qualification in Engineering or Information Technology or related field
