Synergie is seeking a Maintenance Supervisorfor our client who is One of Australia largest Logistic Freight and Courier Company located in Melbourne Airport VIC

Monday to Friday 8AM 4PM

What you will be required to do:

As the Maintenance Supervisor you will play a key role leading the maintenance function at our Melbourne Airport site supporting automated sortation systems and depot equipment

Lead train and mentor a team of maintenance tradespeople
Deliver preventative maintenance and rapid repair outcomes for automated sortation and freight handling equipment
Develop and manage maintenance schedules using CMMS (MEx) ensuring accurate work history records
Manage critical spare parts inventory purchasing processes and engineering store operations
Take ownership of the effective operation of the on-site Engineering Workshop
Collaborate with the Engineering Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement and support engineering strategy
Manage suppliers and contractors to ensure reliable maintenance support
Promote a safety-first culture and ensure WHS/OHS compliance

To be successful in the role you will:

Strong team player with initiative motivation and a proactive approach
Proven experience leading maintenance or reliability teams in industrial or continuous process environments
Solid electrical and mechanical maintenance background with powered industrial equipment
Experience with carton and package handling conveyor systems (preferred)
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation
Experience with PLCs SCADA systems three-phase motors and pneumatics
Demonstrated capability in process improvement and problem solving
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems (MEx preferred)
