About the Role
This role is responsible for planning supervising and delivering maintenance and cleaning services for infrastructure assets across Baw Baw Shire. The position involves the operation of plant and equipment coordination of staff and contractors and the effective use of resources to ensure works are completed safely efficiently and to a high standard.
The role develops and reviews maintenance programs monitors progress and reports on performance and safety outcomes. It provides day-to-day leadership guidance and support to team members and contractors while promoting continuous improvement in safe work practices. Regular toolbox meetings are conducted to maintain strong communication and reinforce safety and operational expectations.
About the Successful Candidate
Current Victorian Drivers Licence preferably with heavy rigid endorsement;
Relevant supervisory experience of infrastructure maintenance; and
Demonstrated experience in supervision of staff and achieving program timeframes.
Ability to supervise tasks set priorities and work to timelines in a pressured and changing environment.
Demonstrated customer service and team focus.
Sound communication problem solving common computer software experience and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide day to day support and guidance to staff to ensure that programs are achieved in a safe efficient and cost-effective manner.
