Job Summary

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to support ongoing plant reliability at a busy workshop near Lytton. This role focuses on preventative and breakdown maintenance across fixed plant and equipment working closely with Operations and Engineering to keep production moving.

Key responsibilities

Preventative routine and breakdown maintenance
Gearboxes bearings pumps motors hydraulics & pneumatics
Crusher rebuilds (Symons Vickers Pegson Hazemag)
Gearbox and bearing removal/refitting
Metal fabrication and mechanical repairs
Accurate maintenance records and job costing support

Qualifications / Experience required

Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
Maintenance experience in an industrial environment
Forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain)
EWP Scissor Lift (or willingness to obtain)
Able to pass pre-employment medical & testing

Desirable but not essential:

Welding experience
Riggers or Confined Space tickets

Whats on offer

$63.25/hr including afternoon shift allowance
Afternoon shift 2pm starts
Penalties and occasional overtime available
Full-time hours with temp to perm opportunity
Workshop-based role near Lytton
