Graham is actively recruiting for an Accounting Clerk to support the Infrastructure Division. Reporting to the Assistant Regional Operations Controller this role provides accounting and transactional support for transit and heavy civil construction projects. The Accounting Clerk ensures compliance with contractual terms union agreements and tax legislation.

Your Role in Building What Matters From Office to Site

Support Accounting Processes Assist with transactional accounting month-end procedures and project cost controls.
Manage Contracts & Billings Administer subtrade contracts and ensure accurate timely progress billings.
Handle Timekeeping & Reporting Process time entries generate LEMS reports and maintain compliance with labor standards.
Assist with Receivables Support collections deposits and maintain accurate financial records.
Ensure Compliance Uphold contractual tax and internal control requirements across projects.

The Right Tools for the Job

Education: Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is an asset.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting project administration or contract administration with at least 2 years in a general contracting environment.
Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting and job costing principles; proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel

Compensation

Salary Range $49000 to $65000 per annum
Salary will commensurate with education and experience
3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year with credit for prior industry experience
